Code Geass Returns and Spinning Penguindrum Confirmed

Kaze have confirmed on Fridays Amecon that they will be releasing Code Geass in the UK.

Code Geass had been released in the UK previously by the now defunct Beez Entertainment, unfortunately the release of the series in the Anime Legends line was axed before season 2 could be released leaving many fans with incomplete collections of the highly praised series. Now Kaze have acquired the series and are going to be giving it the five-star treatment with both seasons confirmed to be coming out again on DVD and for the first time on Blu-ray too.

Kaze also announced that they will be releasing Spinning Penguindrum, the 2011 smash hit from the creators of Durarara!! and Princess Jellyfish although neither of these releases have had any release dates confirmed yet.

One can only hope that more series released by Beez will be getting picked up for the UK again.
