New DVD & Blu-ray releases: 4th June 2012

It might be a national holiday but there is no break for new anime releases, it’s the week of the ninja with two Naruto releases from Manga Entertainment.

This week we have the release of the complete second series of Naruto Shippuden, this box set includes everything that was in boxes five to eight of the series and features episodes 53 through to 104, that’s well over one thousand minutes of ninja action. This is a great way to collect the series as it comes nicely packed in a sleek case with a protective card sleeve saving both space and money working out at barely a tenner a volume.

We also have the release of Naruto Shippuden Box Set 9, or what will eventually be the first part of the series three box set when it is released next year.
