Berserk Film Trilogy Confirmed For UK Release

Following on from the announcement on the Berserk Movie Facebook Page that the license for the first film had been released for over a dozen countries including the UK, Kaze UK have confirmed via twitter that they will be releasing the entire trilogy here, no doubt it will be distributed through Manga Entertainment.

The first film, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I – The Egg of the King, should be released in the US before the end of the year so the UK shouldn’t be too far behind, possibly we’d be looking at an early 2013 release with each of the next two films possibly being released several months later.

The film trilogy is based on the popular on-going manga that has been running intermittently since 1990 and was adapted into an anime series in 1997 that was released on DVD in the UK by MVM films and is still available today.

Check out our trailer for the first film here.

Caught! Yes we've licensed the Berserk film series - pending a few blood-signatures which is why we were quiet ;)! @ @
