Wonder Festival 2011 Summer Highlights

This weekend was the Tokyo Wonder Festival 2011 Summer event. Wonfes for short is a bi-annual event held in Tokyo and gives all the major anime figure manufacturers the opportunity to exhibit there up coming releases. The event is also a showcase for up and coming garage kit creators to show their works to the general public.

Wonfes is often a first step for aspiring artisans who want their works to be recognised by many of the big name figure producers and it’s not uncommon for them to be scooped up and contest for if they make a good impression.

This summers event was one of the biggest to date, all the major manufacturers had been present with plenty of their wares on show. Below is just some of the highlights of the show:
