Noir to get the “live action” treatment

Starz , the company that owns Manga Entertainment, has green lit the live action adaptation of the Noir anime series.

The series is being produced by Sama Raimi (who knows a thing or two about anime and Japanese films) and Rob Tapert, who both worked together on Spartacus and The Evil Dead films.

No doubt the live action adaptation will try to mimic the combination of intelligent story telling and girls with guns that the anime managed to do. Lets hope it doesn’t have the same bizarre ending that the anime had though.
